Happy new year and sleep talking

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sorry for being a slack holiday blogger. I've been a busy bunny, what with starting my new job (going great!), spending Christmas with the not-in-laws and, well, sleeping.

On the subject of sleeping... Check out this cool blog - sleeptalkinman.blogspot.com

Basically this lady has been recording all the weird and wonderful things her husband comes up with in the dark night time hours.

Some classics include:

"Don't leave the duck there. It's totally irresponsible. Put it on the swing, it'll have much more fun."

"Ooh! My balls are itchy. Have you got the cheese grater?"

"Legs time! Everybody get your legs!"

"I haven't put on weight. Your eyes are fat."

"Lentils are evil. Pure fucking oozing evil. Take them away from me."

And a special one for Steve (I keep meaning to record some of his night time mumblings, keep an eye for that in the future...):

"I demand compensation in cola bottles. Lots of fizzy cola bottles. In one lump sum."

It's an awesome idea for a blog. And some of Adam's phrases are solid sleeptalking gold!

Someone Once Told Me

Here's a cool blog/website that is like what i wanted mine to be like.....but a bit less stalker-ish, in that it just asks people directly, rather than sneakily listening in on private conversations. Anyway, it's cool, check it out, participate if you want. But I bet you can't decide on which sage piece of advice that you've been given, you would share with the wide, wide world.
